It sits in open countryside with wonderful walks on the moors, woodland and Cropton Forest. There is a lovely moorland walk to the local pub at Rosedale Abbey or down to the Blacksmith Arms at Lastingham.
The property’s proximity to North Yorkshire’s main towns, Pickering, Malton, Whitby, Helmsley and Scarborough mean that despite the rural surroundings there are many amenities and things to do nearby. There are a number of picturesque stone built villages nearby, with Hutton-le-Hole and its wandering sheep and stream running through, a popular favourite, only a short drive away. Rosedale Abbey with its local convenience shop and pub is also a very short drive away too
