The Barn at Rigg End holiday cottage is a superb barn conversion surrounded by open fields, woodlands and unrivalled views over the North York Moors. It is close to the pretty and popular villages of Rosedale Abbey, Lastingham and Hutton-le-Hole and on the edge of Cropton Forest. Very well equipped, it sleeps up to six people in three spacious ground floor bedrooms and a lovely large open plan living area on the 1st floor.

The Barn at Rigg End is a fully renovated character property, charmingly furnished and situated right in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. It sits in open countryside with wonderful walks on the moors, woodland and Cropton Forest. There is a lovely moorland walk to the local pub at Rosedale Abbey or down to the Blacksmith Arms at Lastingham.

The property’s proximity to North Yorkshire’s main towns, Pickering, Malton, Whitby, Helmsley and Scarborough mean that despite the rural surroundings there are many amenities and things to do nearby. There are a number of picturesque stone built villages nearby, with Hutton-le-Hole and its wandering sheep and stream running through, a popular favourite, only a short drive away. Rosedale Abbey with its local convenience shop and pub is also a very short drive away too

The property has a quirky upside down layout with all 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms located on the ground floor and the main living area and elevated terrace on the second floor. two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and all have direct access to the garden. The living area is furnished to a very high standard with solid oak furniture with character oak beams to match. One of the headline features is the elevated upstairs furnished balcony, ideal for dining out and enjoying the incredible moorland views.
