Hiking & Walking
There is no better way to get out and explore the North York Moors than on foot. The 109 mile Cleveland Way, from Helmsley to Filey, a great favourite with hikers, meanders through the dramatic North York Moors and across to the stunning Yorkshire coastline of pretty fishing villages, enticing beaches and small inlets and coves. En-route will take in various castles, historic monuments, and heather moorland, whilst offering stunning views of castles, ancient stone crosses and epic landscapes. There are many other great walks that can be enjoyed too, long and short.
