A wonderful selection of pubs, restaurants, cafe’s, coffee shops, tea rooms can be found to eat ot and enjoy across The North York Moors. There are two highly acclaimed Michelin Star restaurants close by in Harome, near Helmsley, The Pheasant Hotel and The Star Inn. Many of the local restaurants source their fresh goods from one the many local food and drink producers as well as fresh fish straight from the Yorkshire Coast fishing ports and harbours. Check out the fresh bread and cakes from the local bakeries, wide range of fresh produce farm shops and foodie goods, cheese and delights from the many delicatessans.

Popular local pubs include the ‘Blacksmith’s Arms’ at Lastingham (enjoyable 4 mile round walk too), ‘The New Inn’ at Cropton, The Moors Inn at Appleton-le-Moors and a guest favourite cafe called ‘Graze on the Green’ can be found at Rosedale Abbey which is just a short drive up the road.
