Great Local Walks

We are in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Walk from our door across the River Seven at Hartoft Bridge and up onto Spaunton Moor, Wheeldale or Rosedale Moor or head out into the many trails and well marked footpaths in Cropton Forest. There are many other lovely walks and a popular option is to walk down to our favourite pub, the Blacksmith’s Arms at Lastingham. A longer circular walk follows the River Seven up to Rosedale Abbey, up Rosedale Chimney Bank an take the Lastingam Ridge path before returning via the stepping stones by Hartoft Bridge and back home to the Barn.
